Fatshionologie: Floral

Fatshionologie is a blogger style challenge born out of a discussion on twitter in the hope that it would help us create exciting new content for our blogs as well as show that each new style 'theme' can be rocked by a variety of different body shapes!

This months theme is Floral. We put no boundaries on what this could be so it was up to each person to interpret it how they wanted.

When we were discussing a theme and this came up i knew exactly what i was going to wear. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know i have a bit of a thing for floral and own quite a few floral items, any of which would have been perfect for this, but this dress was one i had wanted from first seeing it on the Simply Be website, but with a RRP of over £70, i just couldn't justify it.

As you will also know, i love Ebay, it is the perfect place to find fashion at a cheaper price (satisfies the shopaholic and bargain hunter in me). I found this beauty in a size 20 ( i was a tad worried it wouldn't fit) with a starting price of 99p, i ended up getting it for £16, which i still think is a bargain, and it fits perfectly!

So do you want to see my take on Floral?

The stunning floral mirror print of dress is what drew me to it. It is a shift dress with a square neck. It is fully lined with a zip detail at the back. Because of the lining i struggle to get it on (i don't undo the zip) but once i have it past my boobs it is a perfect fit. I love the way it looks on. I think this could be a dress that is dressed up for the evening, but i wanted to make mine more casual so i could wear it for teaching. To give it a bit more edge i added my ASOS spike plate belt and my primark necklace for a bit of detail.

I hope you like my Floral look and why not go and check out the other Fatshionologie girls to see their budget fashion outfits.
