Dainty Doll Lipsticks

The blogosphere has been a buzz with talk of Dainty Doll, The Nicola Roberts Make Up range designed for light skin, Fragrance Direct had an amazing offer on the range, with the Lipstick selling for £1.99, when it normally retails for £12.50, i couldn't resist making a rather large order and i will show you the blushers in another post.

In total i bought 7 lipsticks for £13.93 saving £73.57, Bargain!

The boxes are really cute and the lipsticks themselves come in a metal tube which feels nice, the shape is also nice and bit a different from most lipsticks i see. One of my only complaints is the lipsticks just have numbers on the bottom and not the name, making it hard to find the one you want, so i will be keeping mine in the boxes.

L-R Couture, It's my party and Material World

L-R In his kiss, Baby love, Stripped and Storm in a teacup

L-R Storm in a teacup, Stripped, Baby Love, In his kiss, Material World, It's my party and couture.
(sorry for the bad picture, this is my first time doing swatches)

Couture is a dark vintage red
It's my party  is a quite a bright pink
Material world is lilac pink
In his kiss is a soft pink
Stripped is a pale gold nude
Storm in a teacup is a pale brown
Baby Love is a pinky nude

My favorite colours are material world and in his kiss, and i hope in time i can be daring enough to wear Couture and It's my party.

They contain moisturising meadow foam seed oil and vitamin E which means they don't dry my lips out, which is good as i have quite dry lips. They are described as long lasting, i found that some colours lasted longer than others and some only stayed on for an hour or so. All in all i love the lipsticks and think they are great for £1.99 but i wouldn't have paid full price for them,
