For my base i used Illamasaqua Hyrda Veil which is a so weird, it is a jelly but it is really good for hydrating for your skin and making sure you have no dry bits for make up on cling on it, this was my first time using it and i have found that my make up still looks good 5 hours after putting it on. Next i put on Max Factor Face Finity this is a 3 in 1 product, it is a primer, concealer and foundation with spf 20, i wear colour 45 which is Warm Almond, not actually the lightest shade (which i normal am) i really like this as a every day foundation as it gives good medium coverage and makes my skin look really good. I applied with my fingers.
Then i go onto contouring, I use MAC mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade as a highlighter and do the top of the cheekbones, temples, chin and cupids bow and NYX Illuminating bronzer in Narcissistic as a bronzer, it is a really light colour so i don't have to worry about being orange, i apple this under my jaw line and and under my cheeks to try and sculpt them, it can take practice and patience to get this right and sometimes i need to keep switching between the two to get it right, i used my Real Techniques Buffer Brush and Contour brush. For my blusher i mixed two colours to get this look, Benefit Bella Bamba and Benefit Thrrob and i think it works really well, i just layered them over each other, using Bella Bamba first and higher, then Thrrob over the top and lower .
For my eyes i used my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, using half baked on the lid and picking up detail with snake bite for a nice subtle brown shimmer look, i also used foxtrot as a highlight under my brows. To fill in my eyebrows i used Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil in shade dark brown, i haven't quite got to grips with powder yet so this is the best way for me. And to finish the look off i used MAC lipstick in Brave Red which is a nice bright red, being a cremesheen forumla it is highly pigmented and lasted a few hours.
