Last month i was contacted by Fashion World and asked if i would like to take part in their Style Inspiration challenge: Spring into Style. I picked this amazing colour block skater dress in a size 20. I liked how bold the orange was and with the black detail it looked really striking. I can imagine wearing this to a spring tea party. I really like this dress but i'm not sure it likes me as much, the pleating detail, while pretty, doesn't sit the best on me, but i think that is because i am big in the hips. Also the black around my bust doesn't seem to sit right, to me anyway, it just makes my bust look a funny shape, maybe a different bra would help, or my body portions just aren't right for this dress. The length is just below knee on me, which is really lady like and as the skirt flares out slighty it is very nice. The shoes are from the Claire Richards collection, when i first saw them i thought i would never be able to walk in them but actually they are really comfortable, the platform helps and they aren't as high as they look.
