London Edge was upon us again, an event that brings together the best of alternative fashion and showcases the upcoming S/S collections. This is my 3rd time going and it never disappoints (you can read about the other two here and here)
It is also a great chance to see some of my favourite people. I got to spend the day with Nikki, Lottie, Tanya, Kerry and Rhina.
Lindy Bop
This is the first time Lindy Bop attended and they had rails of up coming collections. Lots of new shapes and prints. I think people are going to be very happy.
Lola Ramona
This shoe brands has us cooing every year and they had the most beautiful stand this year with all the shoes on swings.Banned
These Mermaid and flamingo shoes are such fun!
Collectif
We spent a lot of time at Collectif talking to Julia and Phillipa about extending their sizes and diversity in the photo-shoots and we had a great response from them.Yes That is Miss Victory Violet and Soda Fontaine, i was fan girling hard but was too shy to properly say hello |
I just want to be a water melon! |
We also got to meet some other fabulous bloggers
Cacao Papow and Florence Flounce |
The After Party
This was my first time heading to the after party, we headed to Byron Burger to refuel and have an improtu making up lesson from Nikki before heading to the Metal Works, the venue for the evening. This place was quite magical, toas stools outside, an old tube carriage acts as the bar, stuff hanging from the ceiling, just amazing.
There was entertainment from compere Virgin Xtravaganzah and burlesque from Talulah Blue and Londonedge awards were given out.
With the adorable Vicky |
I was a party pooper and left early as i had to get back to Paddington to catch my train home, but it was a great day and i'm already looking forward to the September event.
