I promise i am trying to get better at writing about events i attend. Back in August i was lucky enough to be invited to the first
Voodoo Vixen Launch party to preview the new A/W collection. Read all about the day (lots of pictures)
The outfit
I wore my Pin Up Girl Clothing Margret dress in mint and black, it was going to be a classy day so only a classy dress would do. This dress has a wide square neckline (almost bardot) create a lovely line (it even has bra 'snaps' inside of shoulders to keep your straps in place) , while the long sleeves meant i didn't need a cardigan. The cut of the bodice is a real curve enhancer. I am wearing the 3x.
Afternoon Tea
I invited
Chereeka to attend as my plus one and she in turn invited me to afternoon tea at the
Mirror Room in the Rosewood Hotel with her,
Kelly and
Becky. This center piece of this afternoon tea is based off famous artist Now i love a good afternoon tea so was straight in there. We had second helpings of the sandwiches, were offered a palette cleanser before our scones and cakes arrive. The Banksy salted caramel square was my favourite.
Voodoo Vixen Party
After eating our weight in food we headed off (more waddled) to met
Tanya and catch the bus to Fontaine’s for the Voodoo Vixen party, which was also the preview of Miss Victory Violets collaboration.
A goodie bag, free drinks and nibbles had us all happy before the entertainment even started. We started with singing by Georgia Harrup, Burlesque by Miss Cherry On Fire (i've bever heard a room of women so excited about a women stripping off) and finally more singing from Elle and The Pocket Belles. All were amazing!
